➢ I had a "locked shoulder" and had trouble raising my right arm when changing. I tried to live with it and was resigned to one of those inevitable of old age. However, after attending CK10 a few months, one day I suddenly found myself raising my arm without any trouble. Wow, the pain was gone!

I no longer have to sit down to put on my socks (thanks to the Crane form)

I can run to get to my afternoon train without feeling faint (thanks to the breathing techniques)

I can last longer during the work day without feeling tired (thanks to the controlled exertion)

I feel more confident (now that my body can do more than before)

➢ Both Steve and I started Tammy’s class a little over one year ago.
Not knowing what to expect but trusting it would be fun and interesting to try something new.
We were so pleased with what we found. Integral Tai Chi is fun but it is much more than we expected. It has brought a new realization of how the mind and breathing can affect your health and well being. We often take a few minutes during a walk to stop and do a few exercises.
It also helps during a busy day to stop and breath. We feel being a part of the class has truly changed our lives by teaching us to be mindful and compassionate in today's fast-paced world.

1. Am almost free from pain in my left shoulder. I had been unable to lift it for about a year due to tendonitis. Surgery had been recommended after steroid shots and physiotherapy did not result in any improvement.

2. Am more flexible; have better balance; and better posture.

3. I have more energy.

4. Am more tolerant and non judgmental.

➢ CK10 is a fantastic, unique program and has benefited me in many ways. I am blessed that I learned of Tammy’s class through a friend of a friend and went to my first class 1 ½ years ago. The benefits were immediate and still continue. Sure, we all know that exercise is important, but CK10 is exceptional and covers it all – mind, spirit and body. I am benefiting greatly from the stretching, breathing, control of motion, strengthening, and balance. The flexibility and balance benefits have been especially important to me. The relaxation and appreciation are an added bonus that beautifully rounds out the program. I enjoy CK10 and look forward to each class. I’m very grateful to Tammy and her “Count” Tom for generously giving their time and talent to teach us.

Nancy and I will not be able to make the celebration tonight, but I wanted to let you know that we have really enjoyed your classes over the last 3 years! Thank you for your and Tom’s commitment in holding the classes.
I have noticed an increase in my flexibility and an improvement in my balance that I know is a direct result of your class; I know it will be very helpful as I grow older. I play competitive basketball twice a week, mostly with guys 10 to 20 years younger than me, and when we stretch before playing everyone remarks about how I am more flexible than them. I tell them it is from CK10 and try to get them to join us, but so far it has fallen on deaf ears.

I am sorry that I am unable to celebrate with you tonight. I was in the very first class that you started at St. Rose, when we were in the small rooms in the Parish Center. Your classes have been a great gift to me. I am inspired each time I come to a class when I see the others who are so graceful and strong at the same time. I am convinced that my back, which has at times given me problems, has become more flexible since I started taking your classes. I no longer groan and moan when I get out of bed in the morning! Thank you for starting these classes, for being so patient with us, and for expanding the classes to more than once a week. I look forward to taking these classes for many more years!

- I used to have terrible migraine headache. Thanks to the deep breathing and exercise, it’s practically gone, except when I eat food with MSG. As a result, I don’t eat out much, and avoid Chinese restaurants.
- I used to have restless leg syndrome on both legs, and osteoarthritis on the left knee. Now I feel great because all the pains are gone. I feel full of energy, happiness and can concentrate as well as balance easily, thanks to practicing CK10 regularly.
